Over mij / ons:Across Maasai Land Initiaive {AMLI} is a registered Community Based Organization {CBO}, created to improve rural people's livelihoods through the implementation of the Millennium Development Goals {MGs}. Through a Millennium Villages approach, rural communities decide their priorities and most critical problems affecting them and how they should be tackled. AMLI works closely with all stake holders and institutions in rural areas including, schools, health facilities, local women groups and societies, village elders etc to ensure a more integrated and participatory approach in all development issues.
Waarom 1%LID:Fundraising is the greatest challenge facing rural communities based organization.We believe that the Onepercent club online marketing will bridge this gap and help us reach to as many people as possible in the world to share what we do and invite them to support us. It is a platform that creates a conducive environment for raising funds regardless of your position in society, color, religion or tribe.

Hi Friends,
Christmas is just at the corner and the whole world will be celebrating. It is a season to remember the less fortunate in society. For Indupa primary school students, it is a normal day to them. Yes, they are on holiday but they will not be celebrating. First, this marginalized rural community is just too poor to even put food on the table for their families and their children learn under a tree day in day out. Education is a long term investment which will help transform the lives of these poor kids in future. A conducive learning environment with classrooms, desks and other learning materials are urgently needed when schools open coming January. We urge you to invest 1% of your income in the future of these poor kids, and this will enable them to invest in the lives of future generations. I would like to thank you all who have donated something little to our community project. Although Indupa primary school is not anywhere on the world map,Our children in this rural primary school now know that they are not alone and that someone somewhere cares about them. I would like to send my heart felt congratulations and thanks to you all who are making our dream come true. Once again thanks very much indeed.
