1%CLUB is the platform that connects smart development projects with people, money and knowledge around the world.

What are the conditions a 1%CLUB project should meet?

• The project takes place in a developing country (which is stated on the DAC list).
• The project is a unique activity which gives an impulse to long-term improvement of the living conditions of the parties concerned.
• The project is a unique task, limited in time and resources and has a clear project result: 1%CLUB is not a platform to pay for general operating costs.
• The project proposal is small, clear and concrete and the project budget is not higher than € 5.000.
• The project owner has sufficient access to the Internet so that she / he can give regular updates on the 1%CLUB project page.
• The project owner is ready to disclose the project or project idea to all 1%MEMBERS so that they can contribute with their knowledge and make suggestions for improvement.
• When the project is realized, the project owner writes an evaluation on the project page. This can be done through weblog postings, photographs and/ or videos.
• The project proposal should not disseminate religious beliefs and / or be primarily used to seek funding for study, schooling or research.
• The project owner is directly linked to a NGO and / or CBO association, school or company or member of the Earth Charter Youth Network.

What does the registration procedure look like?
Step 1) Complete the project form (questions with * are mandatory)
Step 2) You will receive an email from the 1%CLUB notifying you whether your project has been approved
Step 3) Send the agreement, a copy of your ID card / Chamber of Commerce data / copy of bank statement to 1%CLUB
Step 4) Once your project has been approved and we have received the documentation, your project will be visible online for everyone and you can begin promote your project and look for money and expertise to realize it.

Good to know before you begin!
Please note we are not offering subsidies. As 1%CLUB, we offer a platform where you can present your project, report on its progress and promote it in order to get donations and attract useful expertise. Being successful depends on how actively you use these different tools to promote your project. You Make it Work!

Note: Please note that most success stories from 1%PROJECTS came as a result of active participation of the project owners. The more you promote the project through your online network (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn), the greater the success.
