| Description: | ||
| Aim of the project is to create sustainable income for natural reserve owners in the valley of Motagua (Guatemala), preventing them to harm the nature they carefully protect. The 12 natural reserves are located around Cabañas, close to the T-junction of the roads to Guatemala/Antigua, Copan Ruins (Honduras) and Rio Dulce/Livingston passed by many tourists. The owners currently do not generate sufficient income to maintain the natural reserves, but meanwhile do not want to damage the special nature and historical sites in the valley. Inviting tourists over for an off the beaten track cultural nature experience would be a good solution to this problem. | ||
