The project aims to facilitate favourable settings where the waste collectors can have drinking water, bath, rest and weigh their merchandise, train in savings and banking culture, train in profitable trade and on cooperative organising and benefits, drawing on how the waste pickers’ network in Latin America are succeeding in selling recyclable wastes through cooperatives.
